Wineskin Winery is a third party application that provides additional functionality to OS X system and enjoys a popularity among Mac users. However, instead of installing it by dragging its icon to the Application folder, uninstalling Wineskin Winery may need you to do more than a. Currently Wine still requires 32-bit code to run 32-bit Windows software, which is a problem for Catalina (which dropped 32-bit code support almost completely), and cannot be solved with a simple recompilation. It's only possible to use Wine for some 64-bit Windows software. Download the Play-On-Mac 4.3.4 to your macOS computer from the link at the bottom of the article. Double-click the downloaded.dmg file and drag and drop Play On Mac to the Applications folder. Run Play On Mac in Applications. Wait for the necessary programs to be installed for it. Note: For peppy's Wineskin, if it fails to open, you must run sudo xattr -dr com.apple.quarantine 'osu!app' in Terminal. Or Wineskin will not open! Of my guide for more details. If you're uncomfortable with using a file downloaded from a complete stranger (and you should be) you can follow my guide here to obtain (mostly) the same. Wineskin is a tool used to make ports of Windows software to Mac OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard (or later). The ports are in the form of normal Mac application bundle wrappers. It works like a wrapper around the Windows software, and you can share just the wrappers if you choose (that is the strategy used here).

First of all: Wine (just plain wine) is NOT available for Mac, so that leave you with Wineskin, WineBottler, PlayOnMac, or CrossOver.
Wineskin and WineBottler are intended for creating wrappers, which is basically converting it to a Mac application.
Wineskin gives you more customization over your wrapper.
WineBottler also comes with a system that lets you just run any exe on mac just like that.
PlayOnMac lets you download and run supported apps easily, but isn't good for just any exe.
CrossOver is paid software.
